Load Control Technologies manufactures precision ultrasonic load measurement systems for critical bolted joint applications. As a supplier and partner with major customers in the aerospace industry, we are committed to delivering accurate, precise ultrasonic measurement solutions while maintaining the highest quality standards. We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to support the calibration, verification, testing, and documentation of customer electronic equipment to NIST standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, compliance and overall quality of our OEM equipment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with calibration procedures and equipment including oscilloscopes, high-precision digital multimeters, and frequency counters. The ideal candidate will also have experience in electronic assembly, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, verification, and testing of customer electronic equipment in accordance with documented procedures, specifications, and standards
- Document and maintain calibration records and certificates for traceability and compliance with NIST standards and ISO 9001 quality system.
- Support internal and external audits related to calibration process
- Assist with troubleshooting and repair of calibrated equipment
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve calibration processes and reliability.
- Assist with electronic assembly activities such as inspecting, testing, and soldering
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in electronic calibration
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
- Detail orientated
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
Desirable
- Experience with Quality Management System and Inventory Tracking System
- Experience with electronic assembly activities
