We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to continue to support our growing organization. As the Senior Business Development Manager, you'll establish a network of clients, prospects, lead sources, and industry connections who will keep you in the know on new developments and opportunities. Through your continued relationships, you will drive the company’s growth while developing your own personal growth.
What You'll Do:
As Lighthouse Lab Service's Senior Business Development Manager, you will generate a network of referral sources to create sustainable lead development, through cold calling, business-to-business selling and other methods. We are looking for someone who can cultivate relationships with existing customers, investors and partners through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates on product developments. This individual will also persuasively educate and inform customers of the company’s product lines and their specifications, through sales pitches, product reports and other data visuals as well as track leads and negotiate terms of sales/service agreements.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a focus in sales, marketing or business preferred.
- At least 8 years minimum of demonstrated success in sales or marketing required.
- Multiple years of sales experience on various platforms in the clinical laboratory space
- Knowledge of the clinical laboratory industry is required.
- Experience generating new business and managing a sales pipeline is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to gain a thorough understanding of scientific services to be sold.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
