POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of complex industrial equipment and systems. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated controls, with a strong emphasis on minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency. Committed to upholding rigorous safety standards, interpreting technical schematics and blueprints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support reliable, high-performance manufacturing environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot equipment problems.
Repairs equipment performing electrical, mechanical, and electronic work as necessary.
Performs preventative maintenance including lubrication, calibration, repair and replacement of necessary parts and components.
Knowledge of equipment through training and study of manuals and schematics.
Keeps management advised of equipment performance problems and issues related to maintenance and repair.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or general education degree.
5-10 years of experience in maintenance related position.
Must have proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, machine tools, HVAC, PLCs, manufacturing processes and equipment
Prior experience in printing, packaging, or food manufacturing industry a plus.
