Facility Maintenance Manager

Lead and manage all maintenance operations within a cold storage industrial facility while building, training, and developing small, high-performing maintenance teams. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, company safety standards, and internal policies. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage, mentor, and provide performance feedback to direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement. Assign duties and coordinate workloads to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and enforce all fire, safety, risk, environmental, and health programs. Plan and schedule maintenance activities leveraging the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Collaborate with the facility General Manager to develop and monitor annual labor and materials budgets; review monthly utility reports and provide innovative solutions for energy management. Provide recommendations for future capital expenditures and ensure timely completion of site-specific projects. Lead energy efficiency studies in collaboration with the Lineage Energy Management department. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): High School diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of facility maintenance management experience, including team leadership and resource planning. Experience with Freon refrigeration systems at temperature-controlled facilities. Strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals and practical applications. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity. Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage) while wearing company-provided personal protective and freezer gear.
