Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Account Manager to join our team. This role is strictly focused on account coordination, project documentation, and administrative support for commercial roofing projects—no sales involved.
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction processes and be comfortable handling project documentation such as subcontractor invoices, pay applications, contracts, prequalification packages, and warranties. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams and third parties, and ensuring all project-related information is properly tracked and managed.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify subcontractor invoices, pay applications, and job-related financial documents for accuracy
- Track and manage commercial project documentation including contracts, warranties, and closeout packages
- Maintain and update the company CRM system (AccuLynx) with accurate job and client information
- Assist with preparation, submission, and tracking of pay applications and supporting documents
- Handle prequalification applications and maintain required vendor/client compliance documentation
- Manage and submit COI (Certificates of Insurance) requests and related documentation
- Coordinate with internal team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties to ensure project information is accurate and up to date
- Communicate with general contractors and clients regarding documentation requests, project updates, and closeout requirements
- Ensure all project files are complete, organized, and compliant with company and client requirements
- Support project coordination from start through closeout, including warranty documentation
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Experience in commercial construction, roofing, or working with a General Contractor preferred
- Required: Experience with Procore and familiarity with commercial contracts, subcontractor invoices, pay applications, and prequalification processes
- Experience handling COIs and compliance documentation strongly preferred
- Experience with CRM systems (AccuLynx preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
