Clinical Medical Assistant Instructor

Lincoln Land Community College is seeking qualified, part-time instructors to teach for the Clinical Medical Assistant program at the LLCC Medical District location in Springfield, IL.The position will include classroom and hands-on laboratory teaching. Duties will include:Preparing lessons and updating course syllabi as neededEvaluating and assisting studentsKeeping accurate records of student performance, including following grading proceduresProviding students with timely feedbackCollaborating with the program coordinator to address and resolve student concerns, proactively identifying potential barriers to a positive learning environment, and promptly reporting and managing any incidents that may arise in the classroom settingUtilizing instructional technology in support of the teaching/learning processDeveloping, integrating, evaluating and reviewing student learning outcomes.Tracking consumable lab supply inventory and working with program coordinator to ensure timely replenishment of stockInstructor’s pay will be no less than $33 per hour. Work schedule will depend on student enrollment and class demand.The Paid Leave for All Workers Act allows part-time employees to earn 1 hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked.
