Lincoln Land Community College is currently accepting applications for a friendly and approachable student leader who builds strong connections, shares helpful strategies, and guides peers towards personal success, and campus/community resources.Student Workers will perform the following duties:Offers peer to peer support through active listening and empathetic conversation.Shares practical stress management techniques and strategies to promote wellness.Directs students to appropriate campus resources, including student support services, academic support services, care coordination, and local wellness resources.Directs students to appropriate community resources.Provides tips for academic success and personal well being.All LLCC Student Workers have the following institutional responsibilities:Uphold LLCC’s mission, as well as certain standards of conduct within the College and in dealings with students, staff, faculty and the general public.Responsible for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other regulations with regard to confidentiality of and access to student and other institutional records.Student Workers will be paid minimum wage and will work no more than 20 hours per week.Requirements include the following:Must maintain satisfactory academic progressMust be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the semester of employment, with the exception of summer termComplete LLCC’s mandatory harassment prevention training within 30 days of employmentMinimum GPA 2.0LLCC strives to create an inclusive workplace and environment for our students, faculty and staff.
