Mobile Auto Service Technician

At Long-Lewis Ford of Muscle Shoals, we’re not your typical dealership — and this isn’t your typical tech role.

We're building one of the most advanced and respected Mobile Service Divisions in the region, and we’re looking for driven, skilled technicians who want something more. Instead of being confined to a service bay, you’ll operate a fully equipped mobile service van, providing professional, dealership-level repairs directly to customers at their homes, offices, or job sites.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a company-provided Mobile Service Van to various customer locations

• Perform a wide range of diagnostics and repairs (Ford experience a plus!)

• Deliver exceptional customer service and clear, confident communication

• Work independently while staying connected with the in-dealership team

• Maintain accurate records, follow safety procedures, and uphold service standards

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an automotive technician (dealership or high-volume shop preferred)

• ASE Certification required (Ford FSA or Ford factory training highly desirable)

• Proficient in diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and basic electrical work

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
