POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Sr. Project Manager at LJA Transportation, you will be responsible for leading a department specializing in construction services. Services offered include: Contract Administration, Construction Consulting, Construction Engineering & Inspection, Construction Management, QA/QC, Utility Coordination, Scheduling and Change Order/Claims Review.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Department leadership
• Strategic marketing
• Project management
• Cost control

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering is required
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer
  
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 20 years of experience handling different and varied levels of transportation construction services for clients such as the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Toll & Regional Mobility Authorities, Counties, and Cities.
• TDOT precertification desired
• Ability to perform work on active job sites in a safe, proficient manner required
• Ability to represent LJA and its clients in a professional manner at all times
• Must have a clean driving record; a DMV check will be conducted
