Assistant Supervisor - Fleet Detailing (Night Shift)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assistant Supervisor for Fleet Detailing to support the operations of our team. This full-time position requires a hands-on leader who is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and team performance. The ideal candidate will be available for on-call duties, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to fleet maintenance.
Pay: $19.50/hour, bi-weekly pay
Location: Mesa, AZ 85215
Schedule: Full-time, possible overtime
Monday-Friday 6:00PM-2:30AM (30-min lunch break)

Job Duties:
- Supervise and assist with daily cleaning and detailing of city buses, including interior and exterior detailing.
- Provide clear direction and support to detailing staff, providing hands-on support when needed.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all vehicles meet cleanliness standards.
- Monitor and manage team schedules, breaks, and attendance.
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams; must be proficient with using Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and office equipment (computers/laptops, printers, work phones, radios, etc.)
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare reports and communicate updates via email and other office tools.
This position is typically working in outside weather conditions. This work requires frequent movement such as bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. You will be working in cramped spaces for extended periods of time, as well as climbing, no higher than 4ft. You must be able to lift heavy items, no heavier than 40lbs, and comply with all PPE requirements.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proven experience in supervisory/managerial roles
- Proven experience in fleet care/automotive detailing positions
- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and MVR inspection
- High school diploma or GED
