What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scanning Coordinator (FREEHOLD) (8am-3pm) position at Livoti's Old World Market?
**MUST HAVE SCANNING EXPERIENCE**
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8am-3pm Weekends as needed. HOLIDAYS A MUST
Base responsibilities
● Maintain price integrity by ensuring all in-store price tags are accurate and reflect
the Host price file and current deals and promotions. Test POS Scan.
● Manage price changes for sales, new products, and daily price adjustments.
● Conduct regular aisle back scans to check for tag discrepancies and ensure price
accuracy, receiving from the shelf to POS.
● Use the Host system to update the UPC tag file, including new items, deletions,
and price changes.
● Work with store management and department managers to perpetuate the
Company policies and Procedures with regard to pricing and data flow.
● Maintain accurate audit and price change records and ensure all reports and
documentation is complete and retained.
● Review and interpret Reports on Top/Slow Moving items and report to
Management on findings.
● Review and Act on Not Of File reports and resolve discrepancies to POS/Host.
● Ensure price changes are properly applied to the tags for the store assigned.
● Periodically check items on shelf for “Best By” dating and discuss with store
management.
● Ensure shelf pricing tags and signage are consistent and clear to the customer.
● Check the weekly ad items to the shelf tags in advance of the sale week so that
they match.
● Be cognizant of shelf space allocation and discuss “holes” with the store
management and adjust ordering to fill.
Key skills and qualifications
● Attention to detail and organization.
● Present a calm demeanor and be customer aware and friendly.
● Ability to perform basic math.
● Computer proficiency and familiarity with the Host system, scanning systems,
and point-of-sale (POS) software.
● Analytical, Clear Communicator and problem-solving is required for working with
various store staff and resolving pricing issues.
● Experience in Retail Grocery or inventory management experience is preferred.
● Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, Some College a plus.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
