A Mozzarella Maker is responsible for making fresh Mozzarella
- Utilizes fresh mozzarella curd to heat, stretch by hand, and make housemade mozzarella
- Cares for and handles products with careful attention to quality control and waste management
- Weighs, packages and labels mozzarella
- Stocks display neatly and in a timely manner
- Provides customer service and information on mozzarella-making process to guests
- Cleans work station thoroughly following food safety best practices
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- Previous cheese making experience preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent
Job Requirements
- Availability to work weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
