Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1-on-1, small group, and classroom instruction for SAT and ACT preparation
- Create and implement customized tutoring plans based on student goals and performance
- Administer and review practice tests to identify areas for improvement
- Teach test-taking strategies and build student confidence
- Track student progress and communicate regularly with Livius Prep staff
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Stay current on SAT/ACT test formats and updates
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proven experience tutoring all sections of the SAT and ACT
- Strong command of standardized test content and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to Newton and/or Lexington locations
- Availability for in-person sessions during daytime, evenings, and/or weekends
- Professional, punctual, and committed to student success
- Based on experience, average starting rate is $30/hour
