After-School Instructor (K–8) – Wayland Public Schools
For over 40 years, Livius Prep has delivered expert tutoring, test prep, and college counseling to thousands of students nationwide. Now, we’re bringing our proven academic support programs directly to local schools in Wayland, offering weekly small-group tutoring sessions in Math and English Language Arts (ELA) for students in grades K–8.

Whether a student needs help with homework or wants to level up their learning, our after-school programs provide focused, friendly support in a fun and stress-free environment.
Position Overview
We’re seeking passionate and reliable After-School Instructors to lead small-group enrichment sessions in Wayland Public Schools. Instructors will work with up to five students at a time, delivering engaging lessons in literacy and STEM subjects. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners while being part of one of the fastest-growing school partnership programs in the area.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Deliver engaging academic support in Math and ELA using provided curriculum
- Inspire students to think creatively and build confidence in their abilities
- Manage classroom behavior and foster respectful group dynamics
- Provide timely session notes and feedback to the Livius team
- Communicate regularly with program coordinators and support staff
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction as needed
