Livingston Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track High School Band Director. This position is responsible for leading a highly talented and established high school band program, including directing the Concert Band, Marching Band, and Jazz Band, as well as serving as the Pit Orchestra Director for the high school spring musical. The successful candidate will teach three high school-level music classes, with specific course assignments determined based on scheduling and program needs.
This role is primarily instructional and performance-focused, requiring a strong commitment to musical excellence, student growth, and ensemble development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment while maintaining high expectations for student performance and engagement. High school band directing experience is preferred.
