JOB SUMMARY:
Livingston HealthCare seeks a full-time Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician to join our practice located in Livingston, Montana, the heart of Park County. Join experienced Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to provide comprehensive internal medicine and pediatric care to a diverse patient population of local ranchers, miners, railroad workers, travelers from around the world and a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide routine and preventive health care for children, infants, adolescents and adults, including physical examinations, immunizations, and developmental assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections.
- Monitor patients' health status, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support to promote disease control and quality of life.
- Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Offer patient-centered education and counseling on various health-related topics, empowering patients and their families to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
- Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team for patients with complex medical needs and advocate for continuity of care to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide Critical Access Hospital Pediatric coverage, which typically includes call responsibilities. This includes managing newborn resuscitation, pediatric critical illness stabilization and transfer, and hospital admission with comprehensive inpatient care.
- Participate in coverage of the "Kids Care Line," which answers family phone calls from the clinic.
- Provide leadership and updates in adult and pediatric care, including immunization standards, to family practitioners and others caring for children and adults.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices and guidelines.
- Attend clinical services and hospital meetings as required by Livingston HealthCare Medical Staff Bylaws
- Participate actively in Livingston HealthCares quality assurance programs to maintain and enhance the standard of care.
- Engage in the peer review process to contribute to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with annual education requirements and regulatory standards.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an approved Internal Medicine Pediatrics Residency
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
- Valid state medical license to practice in Montana or ability to obtain licensure
- DEA registration and other necessary certifications for practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and community health
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest medical advancements
- Experience in rural healthcare settings is preferred.
