At Living Well Disability Services, we transform the lives of people impacted by disabilities through the delivery of exceptional services. We are currently seeking a Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support special projects and day-to-day operations within our Human Resources team.
This is an in-person position based in Mendota Heights, MN, averaging 20–25 hours per week. We anticipate this temporary role will run from June through end of August/early September, with some flexibility based on organizational needs.
Position Overview
This role will focus primarily on administrative and operational support for the Human Resources department. Responsibilities include file organization, data entry, auditing records, assisting with employee support requests, supporting employee change processes, and contributing to a variety of HR-related projects and daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain electronic and paper employee files
- Complete data entry, audits, and file clean-up projects
- Run and distribute reports
- Assist with employee support requests and direct inquiries to appropriate team members
- Order lunches and assist with orientation logistics
- Provide backup phone coverage for the Administrative Assistant
- Support employee change processes and other HR functions as needed
- Communicate effectively with employees and team members across the organization

Preferred Experience
- Experience with HRIS systems or data entry platforms preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel
- Minimum of one year of HR experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in a related field or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
Work Schedule
This temporary role is expected to run from early June – end of August/early September and will average 20–25 hours per week. The position is fully in-person, with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week during regular business hours (sometime between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Flexible scheduling may be available based on department needs, provided consistent communication and routines are established.
