Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team at a garden-style apartment community. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the property while providing excellent service to residents.
The ideal candidate will have experience with apartment maintenance, unit turns, general repairs, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turns in a timely and professional manner
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems as needed
- Respond to resident service requests and emergency maintenance calls
- Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
- Assist with maintaining curb appeal and overall community appearance
- Support pool maintenance when needed
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with unit turns strongly preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- EPA Certification preferred but not required
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call rotation required
