Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM-ish, on-site Monday to Friday(some flexibility for exact hours worked)
Starting pay $23.00/per hour. $1,000 sign-on bonus*
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our HR team. This role is essential in supporting HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, compliance, and employee support. You will play a key role in helping our staff thrive—so they can help LIFE individuals thrive.

What You Will Do?
- Maintain confidential employee records and filing systems
- Support payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now
- Facilitate onboarding for new recruits: process background checks, enter new hires into HRIS/payroll system, coordinate onboarding steps and benefits enrollment
- Respond to employee inquiries or direct them appropriately
- Manage our Learning Management System (Relias)
- Assist with compliance and regulatory documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of HR
What We are Looking For?
Required:
- 2 years of Administrative Assistant experience (HR preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Preferred:
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Relias)
- Eagerness to learn and grow with the organization
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and computer use
- Ability to lift up to fifteen pounds
- Occasional bending and squatting for filing tasks
Additional Requirements:
- Satisfactory reference checks
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings: CORI, DPPC, DDS Fingerprint-Based Background Check
