POSTED ON 6/30/2026

LiveWire is soulful by design, transforming the everyday into urban adventure and beyond. Drawing on its DNA as an agile disruptor from the lineage of Harley-Davidson and capitalizing on a decade of learnings in the EV sector, LiveWire’s ambition is to be the most desirable electric motorcycle brand in the world. With a dedicated focus on EV, LiveWire plans to develop the technology of the future and invest in the capabilities needed to lead the transformation of motorcycling. LiveWire has evolved from Harley-Davidson’s engineering expertise, manufacturing footprint, supply chain infrastructure, and global logistics capabilities, while innovating by design and attracting industry-leading talent.

Manager, Supply Management

We are looking for a Manager, Supply Management to lead a small, high-impact team of Supply Management Professionals responsible for launching new electric two-wheel vehicles at unprecedented speed. This role sits at the center of LiveWire's new product introduction (NPI) efforts - owning the supply management workstream from early sourcing through production launch and driving the commercial and operational strategies that keep programs on track. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguity-rich environment, brings deep development purchasing expertise, and is energized by the opportunity to build processes from the ground up rather than inherit them. This role is intended to oversee activities related to Electronics and Plastics.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Product Introduction & Program Execution
  • Lead the supply management workstream for NPI programs, ensuring suppliers are identified, onboarded, tooled, and delivering validated parts in support of aggressive launch timelines. Own project milestone tracking and reporting, maintaining a clear pulse on program health across the supply base. Guide the team through supplier selection, tooling kickoff, PPAP, and production readiness activities. Partner closely with Engineering to ensure parts availability for all build events and resolve complex technical or timing issues as they arise.
  • Supplier Strategy & Commercial Ownership
  • Develop and execute commodity-level sourcing strategies that define where and with whom LiveWire should be doing business. Lead negotiations and bring contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to closure. Benchmark the supply base continuously, identifying opportunities to consolidate, improve performance, or introduce new suppliers aligned with LiveWire's needs. Hold suppliers accountable to commitments on cost, quality, timing, and delivery - and manage performance through structured evaluation and ongoing engagement.
  • Cost Modeling & Business Case Development
  • Partner with Finance to build and maintain detailed cost models for sourced systems and components. Own total landed cost analysis, business case development, and cost roll-ups that inform program-level decisions. Ensure cost targets are grounded in data, reflect true supply chain economics, and are transparent to stakeholders.
  • Contract Manufacturing Partnerships
  • Collaborate with LiveWire's contract manufacturing partners to transition sourced components into production. Serve as the connective tissue between the supply base, engineering, and contract manufacturers - ensuring alignment on specifications, timing, and quality expectations throughout the build process.
  • Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Operate with a forensic mindset toward internal processes - consistently evaluating how the team works, identifying inefficiencies, and redesigning workflows for speed and accuracy. Cut through red tape and redefine how supply management operates at LiveWire, building scalable processes that match the pace and ambition of the business.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Finance, Supply Management, and Contract Manufacturing to establish robust financial targets, project milestones, and deliverables. Influence stakeholders at all levels - guiding others to adopt new approaches and challenging legacy assumptions when a better path exists.

How We Work

Internal Compass: Build a strong personal perspective of what great looks like, with full willingness to embrace a better idea — from any source.

Question Everything: Challenge the status quo and previous assumptions. Use a first-principles approach to identify or build upon opportunities and solutions.

Rigor and Vision: Apply a structured, methodical approach to vet and optimize decisions. Balance objective metrics with product and process intuition to develop world-class supply chain and manufacturing solutions.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

Experience Required

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience, with demonstrated depth in development purchasing, NPI program execution, and supply base management.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex, integrated programs in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute commodity sourcing strategies and manage the full commercial lifecycle from negotiation through contract execution.
  • Experience developing cost models, total landed cost analyses, and business cases in partnership with finance teams.
  • Ability to interpret risks and gaps across extended supply chains and sub-tier suppliers, and to recommend actionable improvements.
  • Strong program management instincts with the discipline to track multiple workstreams and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise recommendations.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity in a self-directed culture, creating structure and direction where none exists.
  • Familiarity with product development processes.
  • Knowledge of motorcycle, powersports, or automotive systems and associated technology is a plus.
  • Systems knowledge in SAP (or other ERP systems) and Power BI reporting is also a plus.
  • Experience sourcing electronics and/or plastics a very strong plus, but not ultimately required.
