What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Nurse – RN – Labor and Delivery position at LiveWell Homecare Agency?
Role: A Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized care for women before, during, and after childbirth in a travel setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing care and support during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages
- Monitoring maternal and fetal vital signs during labor
- Assessing and managing potential high-risk conditions
- Educating and supporting mothers and families postpartum
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Labor & Delivery setting
Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical skills, ability to monitor high-risk cases, excellent patient communication, and supportive care abilities.
