Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The Labor and Delivery Department located in a regional medical center in the Four Corners region of northwest New Mexico is seeking a registered nurse for a day shift position. This role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum within a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in maternal-child health and be prepared to manage a diverse patient population. Job Details Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027 Required Qualifications: RN degree, three (3) years of experience, valid RN license, CPR certification (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and experience in Labor and Delivery nursing Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-acuity obstetric care and neonatal procedures; familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system Additional Information: Candidates should have strong neonatal assessment skills, excellent patient communication abilities, and the flexibility to assist with postpartum and neonatal care as needed. Prior experience in a Level III trauma center or high-volume obstetric unit is highly desirable.
