Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Executes assigned duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Applies radiologic principles and selects appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.
- Participates in quality improvement activities to uphold care standards.
- Achieves set goals within the department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area.
- Registered by ARRT in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills required; state licensure as needed.
