Sanitation Associate

Role Overview: This position involves unloading products from trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing inventory in a warehouse environment. It provides support across various tasks such as sanitation, product selection, inventory control, and truck maintenance, including fueling, washing, and cleaning semi-trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks, breakdown pallets, and organize products into warehouse racks or pick slots.
• Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of various grocery items, ensuring accurate placement and organization.
• Assist with sanitation duties, including cleaning the warehouse and disposing of trash.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks and high-lift machinery, ensuring safety and proper maintenance.
• Check products for damage, verify shipments against purchase orders, and assist with order selection and palletizing.
• Lift heavy items safely, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Report product issues, equipment damage, and low inventory to supervisors.
• Participate in product rotation, move products to dock areas, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; warehouse experience is a plus.
• Experience operating industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, lift up to 75 lbs., and work in various temperature zones.
• Strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and work independently or with a team.
• Availability for flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and adaptability to changing work requirements.
