Role Overview:
This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role involves maintaining store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting profitability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and assist with plan-o-gram implementation.
- Operate cash register, handle transactions, and assist customers in locating products.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and ensure safety standards.
- In the absence of management, authorize refunds, count registers, and oversee cash handling and security protocols.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong mathematical skills and cash handling knowledge.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and understanding safety and security policies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow plan-o-gram guidelines and maintain organized displays.
Experience & Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with six months of supervisory or related experience. Prior retail experience is advantageous.
