We are seeking a Professional, High Energy Scribe/Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying patient information, recording medical history, and data entry into EMR during visits
- Assisting with patient preparation, sterilizing equipment, and providing education on pre- and post-operative care
- Managing clinical supplies, cleaning, and sanitizing rooms and instruments
- Handling patient triage, answering calls, insurance verification, scheduling, and managing lab results
- Maintaining patient confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and balancing financial transactions
- Applying skills across various medical practice areas and working effectively with multiple computer programs
Qualifications include:
- Medical Assistant Certification or 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, CPT/ICD-10 coding preferred
- Strong computer skills, typing proficiency, and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation and attention to detail
- Ability to react calmly in emergencies and work in a team environment
Physical demands: Includes prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing various physical activities required for clinical tasks.
