Role and Responsibilities:
The CT Technologist specializes in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images that assist in diagnosis and treatment. They perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations following prescribed standards under the supervision of a radiologist. The role involves providing patient care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training program.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
- BLS certified.
- Preferred: 6 months of experience as a Radiological Technologist.
