What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Technologist - Breast Center position at Live Well Homecare?
We are seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in breast ultrasound to perform high-quality imaging exams, assist with biopsies, and provide compassionate patient care in a specialized outpatient setting.
Main responsibilities include:
- Conducting diagnostic breast ultrasound exams following established protocols
- Assisting with ultrasound-guided biopsies and localized procedures
- Communicating findings effectively to radiologists
- Maintaining accurate digital patient records using RIS and PACS systems
- Ensuring patient safety, education, and exceptional service
- Participating in departmental projects and operational duties as needed
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
- ARDMS or ARRT registration; breast registry certification preferred
- Current BLS certification
- 1-3 years of ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations welcome
- Effective communication, teamwork, computer proficiency, and cultural competence
