What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technologist-Echocardiographer position at Live Well Homecare?
Role:
A registered echocardiographer responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures following established standards, techniques, and positioning to ensure optimal imaging results.
- Develop and implement procedural/treatment plans in accordance with protocols and guidelines.
- Complete accurate documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintain equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold quality patient care.
- Achieve departmental goals and adhere to safety and procedural standards.
- Recent experience as a Sonographer preferred; new graduates must obtain ARDMS or CCI certification within 12 months.
- Current certification by ARDMS or CCI required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
Moderate activity level involving standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), pushing, pulling, and occasional climbing. Work environment includes exposure to blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and airborne diseases, with standards to ensure safety and infection control.
