Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and therapy, with additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Applies radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and executes appropriate procedure or treatment plans.
- Follows hospital protocols and documents procedures accurately.
- Maintains equipment and work areas for safety and cleanliness.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure quality patient care.
- Completes assigned goals effectively.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting CT competencies.
- Registered with ARRT in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- State licensure as required; BLS certification within 14 days; ARRT(R) credential.
- Preferred: ARRT(CT) certification.
- Basic computer literacy required; additional training preferred.
