- Identify, assess, and treat speech, language, and swallowing issues.
- Manage programs related to communication disorders and counsel patients, families, and caregivers.
- Participate in departmental operations, record keeping, and discharge planning.
- Perform assessments, develop therapy plans, and document progress.
- Provide staff training and in-service programs as needed.
