Position Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed or registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
- Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.
- Utilize clinical skills to deliver safe and effective care.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or S.T.A.B.L.E. may be required based on department.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- IV certification within one year of hire.
- Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.
