Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or with RN guidance, ensuring professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments.
Responsibilities: Administers patient care in clinical settings, maintains licensure, and may perform unit-specific certifications. Supports patient safety and comfort through physical duties such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience, with current LPN licensure and BLS certification. Experience as an LPN is welcomed. Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or IV certification may be required or preferred.
Skills & Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and squat. Physical stamina to support patient care needs throughout shifts.
