Role Overview
Provides respiratory care utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Assess, evaluate, and implement complex patient care plans while participating as a clinical resource for caregivers.
Deliver care with a compassionate approach to promote health and healing, performing additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate treatment strategies
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Educate patients, families, and significant others about health management
- Contribute to healthcare improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Provide clinical leadership and support lifelong learning
- Achieve assigned goals effectively
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience, including hospital or home care settings
- Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation
- Basic computer skills with Windows and Microsoft Office
- Licensure as an RRT; BLS certification required within 14 days of hire
- Preferred certifications: ACLS and PALS
