Role Overview:

Performs comprehensive respiratory care for patients based on physician orders, serving as an advanced resource for healthcare teams. Consults on therapy effectiveness and performs assigned duties to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administers respiratory treatments and interventions.
• Acts as a resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Performs direct patient care and assesses therapy outcomes.
• Utilizes respiratory care devices and equipment effectively.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current RCP license, with NBRC RRT or CRT credential.
• Certifications: ACLS required; PALS for ER staff.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience, critical care preferred.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and perform patient care tasks.
