Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Med-Surg RN, delivering comprehensive nursing care in a 20-bed medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for diverse populations including medical, surgical, pediatric, outpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
- Ensuring safety through accurate medication administration, IV therapy, equipment operation, and adherence to protocols
- Educating patients and families with personalized teaching plans and coordinating discharge and referrals
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, mentoring new staff, and participating in unit improvement initiatives
- Graduate of an approved RN program; BSN preferred
- Current RN license and BLS certification required
- Preferred certifications: Med/Surg Nursing, ACLS, and PALS (within 1 year of hire)
