What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Pulmonology Clinic position at Live Well Homecare?
The Nurse Practitioner will assist in managing Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, supporting Pulmonologists and consulting physicians with admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current unrestricted Tennessee licensure, and national certification in a specialty area. Prescriptive authority, proficiency in critical care procedures (e.g., intubation, line placement, ventilator management), and ACLS/BLS certification are essential.
Preferred candidates have 1-3 years of healthcare experience, with prior critical care experience preferred.
Position is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, located at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in the Pulmonology Unit.
