Join a dedicated imaging team performing computerized axial tomography (CT) procedures in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing consultation requests, obtaining patient history, and ensuring billing accuracy.
- Greeting patients, explaining procedures, and providing radiation safety.
- Performing routine CT scans, evaluating image quality, and demonstrating anatomy.
- Assisting with CT-guided procedures, verifying patient consent, and administering contrast media following protocols.
- Maintaining equipment logs, stock supplies, and ensuring a clean work environment.
- Recognizing emergencies, initiating code procedures, and completing necessary documentation.
- Utilizing radiology software, participating in educational opportunities, and sharing knowledge.
- One year of CT scan experience preferred.
- Completion of Point of Care Testing training.
- Credentials: ARRT-CT and BLS certification.
- Education: Associate’s Degree in a related field.
- Excellent communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle crisis situations and work with electronic health records.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and IV competency.
Hourly rate ranges from $35.85 to $55.57.
