The Co-worker Health Nurse provides essential health services to employees under the supervision of the Manager β Co-worker Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting health assessments, immunizations, TB screenings, and respirator fit testing for co-workers.
- Providing first aid and managing on-the-job injuries, including workers' compensation coordination.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements, and maintaining health records.
- Promoting wellness initiatives, safety committees, and health education.
- Preparing reports to support compliance and quality improvement efforts.
- Current state RN licensure or LPN certification, with relevant clinical experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- For RNs: BLS certification; for LPNs: BLS and IV certification preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
Knowledge of immunizations, safety protocols, confidentiality, and regulatory guidelines. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
