Certified Medication Aide - Full Time Evening

We are seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily activities under supervision.



Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering age-appropriate physical and psychological care based on individual care plans
• Assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and vital sign recording
• Providing psycho-social support and personal care
• Helping residents with transfers, repositioning, and range of motion exercises
• Supporting meal and snack service, and assisting with food preparation
• Administering prescribed medications as delegated, documenting outcomes, and reporting changes to the charge nurse
• Collecting non-invasive specimens and vital signs
• Supporting housekeeping, laundry, wellness, and recreational activities
• Participating in departmental committees and quality improvement initiatives
  
  

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum age of 18 preferred
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
• Completion of state-specific CNA and medication aide certification requirements
• Annual continuing education and certification maintenance
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance if applicable
