Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food Service Director based in Glenside PA. The Food Service Director will oversee all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, staff management, compliance with health and safety regulations, and budget monitoring. Responsibilities include supervising food preparation, ensuring high-quality food and beverage standards, maintaining cost control through comprehensive budgeting, and driving operational excellence. The role will require both leadership and collaboration with team members to deliver exceptional service to residents.
Qualifications
- Experience in Food Service and Food Preparation within a professional setting
- Proficiency in Food & Beverage management, including maintaining quality standards
- Strong skills in P&L Management and Budgeting for effective financial oversight
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a food service environment
- Thorough understanding of health, safety, and food sanitation regulations
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in food service management, hospitality, or a related field preferred
- ServSafe certification or relevant food safety credentials
