WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Drive and maximize sales performance for your store to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales budgets while protecting margin and operational integrity.
- Analyze store KPIs including sales, conversion, IPT/AOV, labor %, payroll, inventory, shrink, and profitability, and create measurable action plans.
- No overtime permitted without prior approval from District Manager or Director of Retail.
- Own inventory health by monitoring aging inventory, cycle counts, recalls, transfers, green waste, and full store counts per schedule
- Actively monitor market trends, competitive activity, and pricing to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Use the RELIEF sales model to service every customer/patient that walks into the store.
- Build, train, and retain a high-performing dispensary team through coaching, role-playing, ten-minute training, and continuous feedback.
- Maintain documented development plans, succession plans, and level-setting action plans in partnership with the District Manager.
- Ensure all team members complete required training and certifications and are developed with consistent, branded onboarding standards.
- Lead with accountability while fostering an inclusive, respectful, and motivating work environment aligned with company values.
- Lead with a customer-first mentality (white Glove), ensuring best-in-class service, ethical selling, and consistent brand representation by using the RELIEF.
- Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor to engage customers, support staff, and model selling behaviors.
- Review online reviews regularly and coach teams to improve guest feedback and satisfaction.
- Personally ensure follow-up with new patients to reinforce trust and elevate the onboarding experience.
- Execute and uphold brand standards, visual merchandising, floor sets, and presentation directives with precision and timeliness.
- Ensure store schedules align with labor models, traffic trends, and payroll parameters.
- Deploy and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Conduct monthly Mock DOH Inspections and ensure readiness for all regulatory audits.
- Maintain consistent, transparent communication with District Managers, Operations, and Retail Leadership on performance, risks, and initiatives.
- Submit a Weekly Store Recap Report to DM, Operations Manager, and Retail Director no later than end of day Saturday.
- Partner with Marketing, Community Outreach, and Retail Leadership to support local events, promotions, and doctor pop-ups (1–2 bi-weekly).
Community, Compliance & Culture
- Serve as a brand ambassador within the local community and healthcare network.
- Ensure strict compliance with Florida OMMU regulations, state statutes, and company policies.
- Lead by example in integrity, accountability, collaboration, and agility.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- 2-3 years’ experience in supervisory or managerial roles
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
- Associate degree: A.S or A.S.S in business administration or management
- Retail and cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Ability to recruit top talent while providing leadership that motivates teams to exceed sales goals.
- Advance Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be flexible and have open availability regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
- Ability to assist with lifting stock and materials.
- Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, or photocopiers
- Occasionally positions self to retrieve product or materials in the store, including accessing shelving in the storage area.
