What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Sales Coordinator position at Live Oak Audio Visual Inc?
We're Hiring: AV Sales Coordinator | Live Oak Audio Visual | Seattle, WA (In-Person)
$30–$35/hour 3% commission on individual sales revenue
If you've ever thought "I'd be great at sales if I actually believed in what I was selling", this might be your role.
At Live Oak Audio Visual, we produce memorable live experiences for corporate events, conferences, and everything in between. Our business runs on relationships. The majority of what we do comes from repeat clients and referrals - people who trust us to show up and deliver, every time. And we're looking for someone who wants to be the reason those relationships stay strong.
What this role actually is:
At the core, you're the connector between our clients and our team. You'll manage inbound inquiries, nurture existing relationships, guide clients through the booking process with confidence, and make sure every order moves through our system cleanly and on time. You're the person clients call because they like talking to you and because things never fall through the cracks when you're involved.
When business slows down? You don't. You go find it. We want someone who can shift gears from farmer to hunter without being asked, someone who sees a quiet pipeline as a challenge, not a cue to coast.
You'll thrive here if you:
- Have 2 years of sales experience in AV, events, hospitality, or entertainment
- Know your way around a CRM (we use HubSpot) and take pride in keeping it clean
- Can read an event floor plan or a technical rider without breaking a sweat
- Are responsive - to clients, to your team, and to your commitments
- Have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends when events demand it
- Can lift 30 lbs and show up on-site when the job calls for it
What we're really looking for:
Skills matter, but fit matters more. At Live Oak AV, we hold ourselves to a high standard, not just in the work we produce, but in how we treat each other, our clients, and our partners. We want someone who brings energy, accountability, and genuine care to every interaction. Someone who takes ownership without being told to, communicates clearly without being prompted, and finds satisfaction in doing the job right.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to hide behind a screen and push proposals. It's for someone who wants to build something - relationships, a book of business, and a reputation.
Compensation:
- $30–$35/hour 3% commission on individual sales revenue
- This is a full-time, in-person role based in Seattle, WA.
Benefits:
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision for employees (with options to add family)
- 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 3%
- Financial wellness support - access to home and auto financing resources
- Optional pet insurance and renters' insurance
- Stocked break room
- Employer-provided branded gear
- Paid time off
- Year-round employment and livable wages
- Defined path for growth and advancement - we're growing and we want you on that journey
