What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Engineer- Integrations position at Live Life Healthy LLC?
Senior Engineer – Integrations
About Company:
Live Life Healthy (LLH) saw what was happening in industries like hospitality, staffing, and home healthcare. Part-time and temporary workers were left behind. Employers wanted to help but couldn’t afford traditional benefits for everyone. And rising costs were making things worse for everyone.
LLH Healthcare was built to solve both sides of the problem and provide basic healthcare to the under insured. We created a compliant, zero out-of-pocket solution that serves the whole workforce and strengthens the bottom line.
LLH Healthcare is dedicated to providing high-quality, client-focused benefit solutions that improve organizational outcomes and employee well-being. We foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and integrity and seek team members who share our commitment to excellence.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and technically strong Senior API Developer to design, build, and maintain integrations, while also contributing across the broader full-stack platform. This role blends hands-on API development with cross-functional collaboration, requiring both deep technical ability and clear, confident communication with non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes end-to-end ownership, thrives in less-structured, fast-moving environments, and is motivated by commercial impact rather than process for its own sake.
Minimum Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
• API Development & ADP Integration
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations (e.g., Workforce Now, ADP API Central, ADP Marketplace)
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions
• Ensure compliant, reliable data exchange across payroll, HRIS, and benefits platforms
• Troubleshoot, test, and optimize API performance and reliability
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems including payroll, HRIS, and benefits platforms
Full Stack Development
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#/.NET on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks on the front end
Responsibilities continued:
• Contribute to scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture decisions
• Design and optimize databases, write efficient queries, and support data migration processes
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Diagnose and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability and uptime
Client-Facing & Cross-Functional Engagement
• Lead and participate in client meetings (video/on-camera) to discuss implementation progress, timelines, and technical requirements
• Clearly explain API functionality, integration workflows, and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including payroll, HR, and operations teams
• Serve as a primary technical point of contact during onboarding and implementation phases
• Gather client requirements and provide recommendations aligned with best practices
• Collaborate closely with Product, Implementation, and Customer Success teams
• Provide documentation, training, and post-implementation support as needed
