About the Role:

As a Salesforce Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and IT professionals to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems, enhancing data accuracy and accessibility. You will be responsible for optimizing existing Salesforce applications and implementing new features that improve user experience and support strategic initiatives. Ultimately, your contributions will enable the organization to leverage Salesforce technology to improve customer relationship management and streamline financial services operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or Engineer with a strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience working within the finance or insurance industry or with financial services applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II or Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or Insurance Cloud.
• Knowledge of integration tools such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements relevant to finance and insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and implement Salesforce applications tailored to business needs within the finance and insurance domain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce environments, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and internal platforms to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
• Conduct code reviews, write technical documentation, and adhere to best practices for Salesforce development and deployment.

Skills:

The required skills such as Apex programming, Visualforce, and Lightning Components are essential for developing custom Salesforce solutions that meet complex business needs. Proficiency in Salesforce APIs enables seamless integration with other enterprise systems, ensuring efficient data exchange and process automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are used daily to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance. Preferred skills like knowledge of Financial Services Cloud and integration platforms enhance the ability to deliver specialized solutions tailored to the finance and insurance industry. Additionally, familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices supports collaborative development and continuous delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely project outcomes.
