Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
- Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters, decks windows and door installer siding and gutters
- Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware for doors bath kitchens
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Ability to read and take action on blueprints and not afraid to lead
- Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
