The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in hospitality and food service; taking that extra step to ensure a customer is satisfied, as well as a love of great food and coffee! At Liv Breads, quality of service is as important as quality of product. We are looking for team players who believe that consistency, focus, and treating co-workers and customers with respect leads to exceptional service.

We are always keen to find those exceptional individuals who have the capacity and drive to train into barista, expediter, and shift lead positions! Preference given to those candidates who can work in both Millburn and Short Hills, both morning and afternoon shifts.

In this role, you may be trained on any of these tasks.

• Set up bakery retail display
• Restock product displays
• Pack products
• Pack shipping boxes
• Ring up customer's purchases
• Pack customers' purchases
• Heat and serve ready-to-eat products
• Prepare samples
• Run food to tables
• Bus tables, and prepare them for the next customer
• Break down the retail areas at closing
• Perform cleaning tasks such as emptying trash, checking bathrooms, sweeping floors, wiping down counters

The ideal candidate will:

• Be ready to learn our extensive menu.
• Maintain a strong level of cleanliness with a focus on 'clean as you go, and follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain composure in a busy environment with high energy and an engaging personality; professional demeanor.
• Have the ability to work in a team environment, understanding that hospitality and food service requires flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism.
• Have the ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time.
• Be available to work flexible hours that are required by the food service industry, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Open since August 2018, Liv Breads, with two retail locations in Millburn and Short Hills has built a reputation for quality and consistency of product and service. Our specialty is artisan sourdoughs, laminated pastry, and fresh and creative seasonal sandwiches and salads.
