Tree service climber and groundsmen

The Tree Service Laborers play a vital role in maintaining the health and safety of trees across residential, commercial, and mixed environments. Working within small teams of 2-5 members, these laborers perform specialized tasks such as climbing, pruning, and inspecting trees, all while adhering strictly to safety standards. Occasional travel to various job sites is required, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation is essential for this role. Looking to hire a climber and ground laborer(s) for our growing company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe tree climbing to access and service trees
• Prune trees to encourage healthy growth and remove hazards
• Inspect trees for diseases, defects, and safety risks
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain climbing and pruning equipment in good working condition
• Coordinate tasks and collaborate effectively within small teams
• Communicate clearly to enhance team safety and task efficiency
• Travel occasionally to varied job sites as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in arboriculture
• Proficiency in tree climbing techniques and equipment use
• Skilled in tree pruning with strong knowledge of safety procedures
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments
• Physical fitness suitable for climbing and manual labor
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
