Identify all preschool children who are eligible for special education and to coordinate their programs.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 1. Knowledge of various disabilities2. Knowledge of child development3. Knowledge of area preschool programs and Family-Centered Early Supports and Services4.
Knowledge of the NHSEIS IEP systemPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Serves as the case manager for all preschool and Kindergarten students with special education needs 2. Provides weekly consultation to the preschool programs for identified preschool students 3. Establishes collaborative relationships with area preschools 4.
Coordinates preschool Child Check Clinics 5. Schedules necessary meetings with special education team members (i.e, referral meetings, evaluation meetings, IEP meetings, and placement meetings) 6. Performs academic/developmental assessments for preschool students 7. Maintains appropriate documentation to meet local, state and federal compliance requirements for all students.
8. Supervise and evaluate preschool paraprofessionals 9. Serves as Preschool Local Education Agency Representative 10. Participates on committees and projects 11.

Provides direct instruction to Kindergarten students for targeted interventions and special education services13. Any other reasonable request made by the Director of Student Services or the Superintendent
