Position Summary: We are looking for a passionate and flexible person to join the Grocery team at Littleton’s Market. The grocery stocker will work closely with other team members and departments to ensure the Grocery Department always looks clean, presentable and well stocked. This is a physically active position with the opportunity to work independently and in concert with the team. This position requires a team member who is comfortable interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Fronting and facing
• Set up samples and interact with customers during sampling events
• Help vendors with demos
• Clean and tidy the department
• Answer customer questions
• Sell items/ talking to customers
• Maintain date checking and date rotation
• Restock shelves accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain safe product storage and sales
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in the grocery field
• Detail oriented
• Ability to attain and nurture strong product knowledge
• Communicate clearly with vendors, receiving and grocery team members
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Collaborate with other team members
• Good communication skills, both oral written
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
